Problem: patient hated the upper "fang†teeth esp. the right one and lower right "fang†tooth, bite is off, space between teeth visible.
Daignosis 2
Patient was concerned about the crowding. There was no overlap of front teeth, crowding mostly in upper, narrow upper jaw with cross-bites.
Treatment
Palatal expander, full braces and lifetime retainers
Diagnosis 3
Family and family dentist were concerned about the crowding. Moderate upper and lower crowding, upper center-line off to right, narrow maxilla, bite is off.
Treatment
Device with palatal expander to create space to correct the crowding, full braces and lifetime retainers.
Diagnosis 4
Crowding in upper and lower arches, upper front teeth overlap bottom 100%, lower midline off to right.
Treatment
Two phase treatment: Early treatment w/ partial braces on the upper arch and a space maintainer on the lower. Then a retainers was worn until Phase II was ready to start. Phase II included a palatal expander, full braces and lifetime retainers. No teeth needed to be removed.
