Good oral hygiene which includes brushing, flossing, a rinse and diet is paramount to successful orthodontic results. Since our motto is a team approach, it is extremely important for the patient, parents, your family dentist and Dr. Cavalier’s office to work together to achieve excellent results. We have a special, hygiene reward program. We have several winners throughout the year and they pick from a variety of great prizes. Some past prizes are Pittsburgh Steelers tickets, Altoona Curve tickets, amusement park passes, etc. All patients participate in the program but only those who have excellent hygiene can win. All patients in braces are graded every appointment. Then all A’s that are earned are in the running for a great prize.
